Was a good tourney. Landed myself in 5th place at this one with a 16 5/8". Weather was rocky at first but only twice after it cleared up did it rain for no more than 5 minutes or so. The wind really picked up on the way back in, which made the ride back to the start pretty fun. Will certainly be going again next year. Decent prizes for a small event and consolation prizes for people who placed with fish.

Thanks again to the event holders down at Baer / Eco Adventures from Long Point.

Do it up people!

We will have lots of local people fishing this event and everyone is pretty excited about it.  Most people who have entered are not in the "yak fisher" or regular tournament scene.  Don't let the lack of tournament experience fool you, there are some good fisherman who know where the big girls are hiding out!

If you are serious about entering, please shoot me an e mail or text and I will put your name down.  This will help me gauge what the attendance might look like.

I have updated my website with more details!

Tight lines,

Barna

I'm in for this one, been a lot of years since I. Fished those ponds. It was the first place I took my Canoe when I got it.

Soo,

I'm trying to talk my wife into leting me do this one. I'm thinking, since I'm definitely going to win, i'd actually prefer my free BAER guided trip in advance.  Actually, the 12th works perfectly for me.   :P :P

But seriously, this sounds like a fun one and will try to make it.

Well, that certainly changes a few things. Definitely greases the wheels a bit. Nicely done.

Hey Folks,

This is the first ever Black bridge Centennial "Big Bass Battle" we will gaining momentum as we get closer to the date.

I am happy to say that we now have prize packages from Fogh Marine, Complete Paddler, Fishing World, Lunker Hunt and My Top Drawer.   We are getting more prizes every day.

We will have trophies which will presented on stage at the award ceremony as well.

It has also been brought to my attention that people really do care about cash prizes.

Aside from the the biggest pike cash pot, I can promise a $250 winner takes all Big Bass grand prize.

Seeing as I am doing this for the community and the sport of kayak fishing, if attendance allows me to grow the cash pot to something larger, I will absolutely do so.

To register or for any and all questions or concerns, e mail: info@baerfishingadventures .com or call: 519 718 8113

Best Regards,

Barna
