Only issue I see is that people who live in Musky area have a real advantage over people who live in bass only area. The musky guys have a distinct advantage. Sounds like a fun idea.  Might be interesting to do it all summer, you submit for 1 day of each week of the summer.  That would really prove you were a consistent fisher person.

If everyone that reads the post could take the poll I would greatly appreciate it. Trying to see how much interest this generates. Thanks

Just to add about the part about the angler of the year. This will only be possible if it has enough interest to run multiple tournaments.

Virtual fishing tournament

Hey everyone. I have an idea for a virtual tournament that I'd like to start for next year's fishing season.  Here is the concept.

Virtual tournament concept

7day tournament

-Tournament would run Monday 0001 to Sunday 2359.
- each angler has 1day to fish.
- day selected must be chosen upon submission of tournament.
- anglers then post each catch for that day and the 3 longest fish calculate for your total length for the tournament
- once the tournament ends at 2359 Sunday no more entries will be accepted.
- there will be a top 10 anglers rewarded with points. Scalling from  10 -1 being angler with most inches.
- top 3 anglers will be rewarded with prizes
- breakdown or winning will

( 40% 1st, 20% for 2nd and 3rd= 80%)
- then there will be 20% left from each tournament for top angler of the year
- anglers with most point will be rewarded with angler of the year. Plus receive a prize pack.

PRIZE IDEAS
Lures
Plastic
Terminal tackle
Decals
Hats
Pfg cloths
Gift cards
Line
Yak rigging ( yak attack, Scott, ect)

Main goal is to keep prizes at a good quality. Might run a poll after to see the interest.  Thanks for reading.
