Cherry Beach is in the Outer Harbour which is somewhat protected from the wind/rollers.

Boat traffic and boat waves particularly from the shuttle boats will be my main concern.  The shuttles and ferries operate in the inner harbour.

There will be a lot of sailboats, rowing clubs, etc around.   Generally all the sailing really fires up starting May 24th.

Thatís why i made my previous comment hoping for a little rainy weather to reduce some boating traffic.

Either way you should be fine as long as youíre careful.  You could always rent something larger from complete paddler.  You might have a more enjoyable day.

Ivan - you seem in the loop here.  Whatís expected for measuring devices?  I just posted the same question for Jeffs pike event.. if thereís a specific musky board i need to buy iíd like to order it sooner than later.

I signed up for this... I'm a little weary about paddling my pelican out on Lake Ontario, so I'm hoping for nice weather.

Looks like this is the inaugural year for this Pike Tournament. Nice that's it's fairly close to home. Is anyone else here planning on signing up for this one?
