Hi, I've been up to Temagami a couple of times, going up again in 1st Saturday of June with some Canadian buddies.
We haul 3 biggish ally boats and stay with a guy called Rick Lockhart.
He's got a couple of cabins close to the northern and north eastern arms, plus a fly in on Diamond Lake plus he rents out a few small ally boats on Kokoko Lake and Spawning Lake, they are a fairly easy portage and you rarely see another boat, and they are only 13 footers with 2- 4 horse motors.
We've caught some good walleyes on those back lakes.
Wouldn't like camping though, the bugs love me, after a week up there I'm covered in lumps

Really beautiful place, can't wait to come back, just been looking over my fishing tackle today :)

This area north of North Bay is supposed to have excellent fishing and canoe routes.  I'm just starting to gather info on it now in order to make several one-week trips there this summer.   Has anybody been to this area before or are interested in going there?
