I wanted to apologize for the tourny tshirts....I have rectified it, and as soon as they arrive, they will be mailed to those that bought one! Again, I am so sorry.

thanks derek for taking us to a great spot...that lake would have been hell to figure out cold....not gonna lie, the senko was a hot lure for me...went through two bags of them but having never used them before, i was impressed!  Had a great day out there...beautiful lake, great fishing among great people...what else could a guy ask for!

I held off on prefishing the my hole because Shooter does not know how to turn of his fishing instinct.  I have seen this spot produce ridiculous numbers, but for there to be the quality of fish where they were was a huge surprise for me.  I went prepared to punch and flip the pads and there was no action what so ever there.

All in all a great day and if i didn't see these guys getting fish after fish I would not have believed their numbers....but they did

Cheers

Derek

I wanted to thank Chris aka Skippy for putting on a great event.  Everyone left with something which is always nice. I took our friends from Windsor to a place I will not name and having never fished Senkos the two of them cleaned up.  They placed 2nd and 3rd respectively and had 60 fish between the two of them.  The downside to showing hem my honey hole was they took all the fish from me.  I managed a 18 inch bruiser after losing a 13 off the measuring board thanks to a faulty camera. and it wasn't until much later that I brought a 14 into the boat.  Well done Rick aka Boknows and Joe aka Shooter....blast of a day and you are welcome back to my honey hole whenever you are in the neighbourhood

Cheers

Derek

Had an overcast day with drizzle in the morning, it was a blessing, it kept the boat traffic away, and the fish seemed to like it too.

I netted about a dozen bass today, in-fact 7 of them were caught in the last 30 minutes, they just went nuts right at the end. I didn't get anything big but some folks did. The Mrs. bagged a 17.5" near the end of the day.

Thanks Skippy for a great event.

Not quite like stripers.

Don't know that area, never fished it.

Due west of the Caesarea launch is one of the deepest spots in the lake. It's about 3km from your location.
