If I leave the under seat plugs sealed, the adventure gets a puddle formed in the area.  The seat well bottom is lower than the water line with me in it (220lbs).  I can open the plugs and it drains out while under way, but soak in at rest.

I still need to rig up the vent plug idea that was posted last year.

A lumber support may be the key.

Interesting how your butt gets wet. In my Outback I'm totally dry except when it's raining. My want to invest in a $10 gel pad and cheap lumbar support.

Well, ive put a bunch of time in it now and have  a few clarifications worth noting.

- while my ass does stay drier, the butt pad is not quite high enough to stay out of a puddle if you take on a bit of water.  I am not a light guy though.
- butt seat is super comfortable all day
- back rest- havent quite sorted it out.  It feels great sitting in it, feel fully supported and stable, but my lower back has started aching a bit.  Need to adjust it more and spend more time in it to try and find the right positioning.

Im only about 1 1/2 houra into it, but im thoroughly impressed.  Fits like a glove.   No stability issues so far, although ive only seen a few small boat waves.  Super comfortable, and best of all, my ass is staying dry!

Will take pics later
