2009 CPR Virtual Derby a success!
Yakfisher.net is pleased to announce the winners in our 2009 Catch,
Photo, and Release Virtual Derby.
1st Place - Thom Lambert (aka SingingDog)
Thom entered almost 20 fish this season, amassing a whopping 79 points. He entered more bass than any other angler and we're pleased he chose to share these beautiful specimens with us. For his efforts, Thom wins the top prize pack consisting of an XShot's new camera extender kayak mount, a dvd copy of Heliconia Press' GAME ON: The hunt for the next big hit, a copy of Kayak Fishing: The Ultimate Guide, a Yakfisher T-shirt, and a Kayak Angler quick dry cap. 2nd Place - Russ Jones (aka 12footer)
Russ proved himself an accomplished multi-species angler, boating walleye, bass, musky, and pike along with a few other species. He takes home a prize pack consisting of a copy of Kayak Fishing: The Ultimate Guide, an Ocean Kayak prize pack consisting of fleece vest and stainless steel flask, a Yakfisher.net t-shirt, and a Kayak Angler quick dry cap. 3rd Place - Jamie Pistilli (aka TheFishingCon)
Jamie rounds out our top 3 for 2009. He contributed many carp and musky reports this year among others, including reports of his time on the water filming the sequel to the Game On dvd with Jim Sammons as well as filming for his own TV show, Big City Fishing.
